When the Spanish Conquistadores made their trek across the North American Southwest they taught the Apaches to play a card game. This mat documents the four cards left from that deck of cards. Four placemats make the perfect accompaniment to a floor cloth of this design. One placemat of each of these four cards, the Three of Swords, the Five of Beans, the Queen and the Knight? There are a number of variations possible of these artifacts for coordinating several of these in the same room. This image would also make an interesting wallhanging.
