Guided by an artist mission statement of "preserving Native American history", Mary Beth begins with a bolt of canvas to handcraft authentic Native American rugs or floor cloths, an historically documented Cherokee craft of the 1700's. As a Cherokee artisan she brings this craft into the twenty-first century adding placemats, wallhangings and deskmats to this functional art decor.
